I only spent 3 years in military. I figured after SF training I was going
   straight to Nam. Since I didn't and schools where difficult to get into in 69
   and 70. I opted to ETS. Have had a good life with several mistakes. Have
   often wondered if I had went to Nam what the out come would have been. As RP
   points out above the outcome could always be worse. I am pleased with the way
   things have turned out.(but still have that what if in the back of my mind.
