I was with A-503/B-55 Mike Force in Nha Trang in 1968-69. Maggie came down to the team house one afternoon and spent all afternoon and part of the evening with us. She could hold her Vodka, that was for sure. She loved talking to everyone, and was just a hoot to have fun with. She really gave me and a couple of others something to remember her by because I still have a snapshot of her sitting in my lap. I do remember it was getting about supper time when the Group Commander's aide came and reminded her that she was supposed to have dinner with him. She kept on talking, drinking and joking and the Captain reminded her again at which time she told him to go tell the MF that she would be along in a while. She indeed was a trip and I am so glad her final resting place is Fort Bragg, NC, home of her beloved Special Forces. John (Jack) Cheatham
