Met Bill Pelletier's nephew today on Range 22 Fort Lewis today, 9 October 2003.
 

I am the young guy in civilian clothing (and dry) on the left. Pelletier -- only slightly wet -- on the right. SP-4 Pelletier is in the 3rd Brigade, 2nd ID (SBCT).

 

As life is always full of interesting things. A 48 year old retired SF Major training 20 year old old nephews of mid to late 50 year old List Members on a rifle that was removed from service (as an issued service rifle) 36 years ago.

 

Pelletier assisted us in the training of many 3/2 SBCT Squad Designated Riflemen today. He is a sniper in 2/3 Infantry Battalion and I got to see him suffer behind a Barret .50 cal later on today.
