Thank you for sharing this history and your introductory thoughts. I am a mom through adoption and I couldn’t agree with you more on how uncelebrated and cared for birth mothers are in our country. I’m a single working mom to a 14 month old so my time at this juncture is limited but I want you to know that I think this will be one my causes going forward. Each night, my daughter and I pray that pregnant women can realize that their choices are not simply to raise a child or have an abortion but that true love and sacrifice can be in choosing an adoption plan. If I can be of any assistance in helping to raise awareness and promoting love and care for birth mothers, please let me know. I think it is one of the worthiest endeavors we can undertake to ensure these wanted babies have a chance to find a family and that these birth mothers can be acknowledged for the heroes they are.
