Captain Craig A. Marks, Sr., age 50, of Lillington died Wednesday, August 9, 2006. Craig served in the military for 30 years, retiring as a captain in 2003. He spent 14 years with the U.S. Marine Corps, and was later accepted into the elite U.S. Army Special Forces, where he served as a Green Beret Officer. After retirement, Craig continued to serve his country and community.
